What Is The Purpose Of This Acne Study?
Acne is a common skin disorder characterized by red, irritated, pimples and blackheads & whiteheads. Acne can be associated with scarring, skin color changes, anxiety, and mood issues. While various treatment options are available, many people find them to be ineffective in treating moderate acne over time.

This research study is being done to see if the investigational topical medication is safe and effective in people with moderate acne compared to a placebo (a substance with no active medication). This study requires up to 7 visits to the research clinic over a 12 week period. Participants will be required to topically apply the medication daily over this period.
What Can You Expect As A Study Participant?
  • You will receive all study-related medical care and a topical study medication at no cost
  • Participants will apply the study medication to the entire face once per day
  • Health Insurance is not needed to participate
  • You may receive compensation for time and travel
Who Qualifies For This Research Study?
In order to qualify, participants must:
  • be 21 years or older
  • have between 20 and 50 red irritated pimples and 30 to 100 whiteheads or blackheads on their face
